Agave, Day 64
The agave was tipping over so I made an effort to contact a tree or lawn service for help. Failing that, I decided to stake it myself.
The bottom photo is by my neighbor, Judy. It shows that the agave is as tall as my house. As you can see, the original part of the agave plant is drying out even though I water it substantially every day. Meanwhile, the plant’s still blossoming and growing. If you look closely, you’ll see some of the the pups next to the plant. There are about ten of them, looking healthy and green–an agave garden to come.
