Agave, Day Five

The agave seems to have survived our cold spell. Its growth slowed a little, though.

Today, I’ll be out gardening, clearing away the weeds that have sprung up while I was away and starting to get my vegetable garden plot ready. This is a beautiful time in Reno when growing things are flourishing in the period before the high desert summer weather makes it harder for them.  I’ll check on the little agaves that have sprung up around the original one, too.
